Funding Opportunities

The Yampa Valley Community Foundation’s expertise in effective philanthropy enables us to grant year-round, to pivot during a crisis or a unique opportunity, and to direct funds where needed most. We support a philosophy of trust-based philanthropy and emphasize partnerships with local nonprofit organizations to achieve shared community goals.

The Foundation holds an annual Community Grant Cycle and manages grant cycles from YVCF Granting Funds as well as serving as grant administrator for the City of Steamboat Springs and the State of Colorado’s Department of Local Affairs (DOLA). We support nonprofits experiencing unplanned, unexpected, or unbudgeted needs through our Emergent Needs Funding program, and our Impact Investment program provides flexible, low-cost capital loans to local nonprofit organizations, giving access to larger funding in comparison to a donation or grant.

Stay up-to-date with upcoming grant opportunities by subscribing to our Nonprofit Newsletter.
