Passport Club

The individuals and organizations that make up the Passport Club are passionate about how they live, work, learn and play. The PASSION of each Passport Club member can be seen in their smiles enjoying the benefits the Steamboat Ski area provides and in their hearts as they know their membership improves the wonderful Yampa Valley.
For over 25 years, the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation (SSRC) has generously donated 80 ski medallions each winter to the Community Foundation’s Passport Club. Funds generated from the Passport Club support SSRC’s contributions to the community and help provide for the operations of the Community Foundation. We encourage our members to actively follow this passion for the betterment of the Yampa Valley and participate with the nonprofits that their membership aids. A Passport Club Membership is a great way to strengthen the community and enjoy the benefits that the Steamboat Ski Area provides.
Proceeds from these memberships provide funds for the operation of the YVCF and grants within the Yampa Valley in Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Health & Human Services as well as Recreation. Since the program’s inception, over $7 million has been raised and distributed to local nonprofits to support the needs of the community.

Stories from the Club
The Passport Club is more than just about enjoying that perfect powder day. You are part of a community of like-minded individuals and organizations who share a passion for the outdoors and for the vitality of our valley.

David & Beth Foster
“We were honored this winter to participate in a STARS (Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports) day which allowed us to interact with a challenged young woman and her family during a day of skiing. The family could not say enough positive things about the STARS program. In fact, they had returned to Steamboat versus other resorts with similar programs because they felt that their daughter got a superior experience here in every way. We came away exhilarated by our experience and pleased to know that Yampa Valley Community Foundation and Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation are supporting such a great organization.”
– David and Beth Foster

Keith & Sandra Miller
“We really enjoy being members of the Passport Club not only for the benefits and meeting new people and making new friends, but because we know every year we are supporting local nonprofits and helping people in our community.”
– Keith and Sandra Miller
Every day we meet with partners, new and longstanding, to pass on our passion to build a better Yampa Valley. If you have a passion, we can help you find the best way to pass it on.
