2024 marked the 45th anniversary of the Yampa Valley Community Foundation—and what a remarkable year it was.

Most notably, we are so proud to have led the successful collaborative effort to save Casey’s Pond. This undertaking called upon all the strengths of our organization—and pushed us to develop a few new ones! Saving such a treasured and essential community asset was a true team effort, and we hope you share the deep sense of pride it represents.

We also welcomed two new staff members, expanding our team to eight and increasing our capacity to better support both nonprofits and donors across the Yampa Valley.

We were honored with national recognition for our collaboration with the Craig Housing Authority, including the philanthropic loan that launched our Impact Investment Program. That program continued to grow in 2024 with additional loans supporting the purchase of the Milner Mobile Home Park by its residents and the construction of affordable apartments in Hayden.
