IMPACT100, a collective giving program of the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, closed out its 16th season in May, 2022, awarding $16,250 to three deserving local nonprofit organizations.
The final voting event for Season 16 was hosted at Perry Mansfield Performing Arts Camp, where IMPACT100 members and guests were able to cast their votes for the nonprofit who they thought was most deserving of funding. The three nonprofit finalists this year were First Impressions of Routt County, Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition, and Open Hearts Advocates. Ultimately, IMPACT100 members voted to award Open Hearts Advocates the first place grant award of $12,500. The other nonprofit finalists each received $1,500 in grant funding. This funding is in addition to $250 that each nonprofit was awarded when they initially presented to the IMPACT100 group.
Congratulations to each of the finalist nonprofits, and thanks to the IMPACT100 Steering Committee and members for their participation in this program. We also couldn’t do it without our sponsors and venue hosts – thank you! Finally, a special thanks to Steve Carlson and Big Air Catering who have provided catering services for every IMPACT100 event since Season 1.
We look forward to seeing you next year for Season 17 of IMPACT100. We plan on revising the schedule for events, beginning in spring 2023 with the nomination event and wrapping up with the final voting event in fall 2023.
