The Yampa Valley Community Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Traci Hiatt as Donor Engagement Manager and Jenny Campbell as Office Administrative Assistant serving in a temporary position until May 2020.
“We are delighted to welcome both Traci and Jenny to the Community Foundation. They both bring a depth of experience and knowledge of the community to our staff,” states Mark Andersen, Executive Director. “Beyond their obvious ability to excel within their roles, both Traci and Jenny care passionately about the Yampa Valley.”
Traci Hiatt has cultivated deep and meaningful relationships over her 16+ years in the Yampa Valley, both through her role in Marketing, Community Outreach and Advocacy with Steamboat Sotheby’s Realty, as well as her extensive community involvement. Traci has served on multiple nonprofit boards, has been instrumental in the establishment of donor advised funds with YVCF, and has worked with the YVCF Marketing and IMPACT100 Steering Committees prior to her joining the YVCF team. Traci’s greatest joy in life is spending time with her husband and young son, whether they are river rafting, fishing and camping in the summers, or spending their days on the mountain in the winters. She is passionate about making an impact in the Yampa Valley community and about YVCF’s mission of connecting people who care with causes that matter.
Jenny is a Colorado native who was thrilled to relocate to sunny Steamboat Springs 2 1/2 years ago after 20+ years away in North Carolina, California, Illinois, Idaho and mainly Washington State. Before moving to Steamboat, she worked as an epidemiologist (public health researcher), initiated and directed two fundraising running races, the Bainbridge Island Turkey Trot and the Trillium Trail Run, and served on the Board of a Parks Foundation. After getting her kids (ages 15 and 13) and husband settled in Steamboat, Jenny dove into volunteer work in various local nonprofits including the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council, the Steamboat Mountain Soccer Tournament, The Journey Ahead for Steamboat Springs Middle School and Booster Club for Steamboat Springs High School. Jenny enjoys running, mountain biking, skiing, rafting, hiking, and reading – all of which she tries to squeeze in when she’s not cheering on her kids’ year-round sports and music activities. She’s excited to help YVCF’s great team of colleagues and to learn more about the local nonprofit scene.
Please make sure to stop by the office in the coming weeks and meet the new staff. They would love to meet you!
