Over 15 nonprofits attended the “The M&M’s of Communications in Moffat County” training offered on May 30th in Moffat County. Presenter, Robin Schepper, led a 1.5-hour session on how to be effective in your communication with a limited budget and limited time. They covered topics such as identifying your target audience and who is the most persuasive to reach your target audience?
About the presenter:
Robin Schepper: Robin is a passionate and committed leader with extensive managerial experience in social marketing and behavior change campaigns. She is skilled in strategic communications, coalition building and partnerships, change management, influencing public policy, training, and coaching leaders and staff to reach their optimal potential. She has subject matter expertise in nutrition, physical activity, health and wellness. For over 25 years, Robin’s career has spanned many positions including co-founding a public affairs firm in Seattle; serving as staff director for the Senate Technology and Communications Committee; working as a consultant to the Athens 2004 Olympic Games; and working with the Bipartisan Policy Center and the Department of Defense on improving food systems. Robin is a certified coach, trainer and facilitator.
