This month, the TMEF caught up with Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund donors – Brad and Hannah Bingham and their company – Bingham Built. They support the trails by not only building great bikes but by making an annual contribution to support the trails. Thank you!
Learn more about why they love and support the trails –
1.) How do you enjoy trails?
We love trails! We are usually on two wheels whether it’s a mountain bike, cross bike, or fat bike, but sometimes we go by foot.
2.) When did you first become a donor of the TMEF and what inspired you to give?
We became a donor this summer when we realized it was about time to give back and support one of many organizations that contribute to our great quality of life in Routt County.
3.) Can you share a memorable experience you’ve had on our local or area trails?
Town Challenges are always a memorable experience on the trails! Bringing local mountain bikers together for an evening of riding (or racing for some folks) is a great way to make memories.
4.) What is your vision for the future of trails in the Yampa Valley?
Our vision for the future of trails in the Yampa Valley is to continue trail maintenance, create new trails, and promote our trails, all in an ethical and responsible manner.
5.) What is your message to people who have not given to the TMEF yet?
We would encourage anyone who uses Northwest Colorado trails to make a contribution to the TMEF. Trails are an important part of our culture & livelihood in Routt County. They provide outdoor recreation opportunities of all kinds and provide access to places we would not otherwise explore. Everyone knows being outside in the midst of nature is beneficial for the mind, body, and soul. Being on trails is a great way to experience this. Giving to the TMEF shows appreciation and helps sustain the mission!
