The IMPACT100 Final Voting Party – Results
This event was enjoyed by approximately 75 people this past Thursday, April 11th. The attendees came together to support the four nominations to be awarded a total amount of $11,400. This was the total amount raised by the IMPACT100 members. The following are the results of this final voting party.
Advocates of Routt County was generously awarded $4,600. This is to help them with their Social Change Advocacy. This program will work with bars/restaurants, schools, and the community to eradicate drugs and alcohol facilitated sexual abuse. Lisel Petis, Executive Director, gave an acceptance speech.
Routt County Search and Rescue was awarded $3,100. To be applied towards much needed IT equipment. Making improvements in this area will enable RCSR to mobilize faster, get to those in need faster, navigate terrain more safely, and overall communication improvements. Jay Bowman, Board President, attended to receive the award.
Chief Theater received $1,350 of funds to help with the youth theater program. A very popular and growing program that has a variety of needs, such as money for scripts, royalties, costumes, and props. Scott Parker, Executive Directory, was present to accept the award.
Routt County Riders received $1,350 to help with their mapping project. This project will protect community pathways such as those used to access schools, dogs to parks, and commuters to work. Kelly Northcut, attended to accept the award.
