The Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association is seeking service projects for all their teams ages 7 to 19 years.

If your organization has a service project that could use help, please let Brain Ripley, Director of Hockey, know by emailing

$192,950 was awarded to Routt and Moffat County nonprofits

he Yampa Valley Community Foundation (YVCF) has completed their 2017 Community Grants Cycle.  A total of $192,950 will be granted to Routt and Moffat County nonprofits.   This funding comes from three local sources, $47,450 from donor-advised funds held at YVCF, $64,000 from the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation via the Passport Club program, and $81,500 from YVCF granting endowments.  The Community Grant Cycle reflects YVCF’s desire to be innovative, inclusive and responsive to the needs in the Yampa Valley.
The Yampa Valley Community Foundation received applications from 62 nonprofit organizations requesting a total of $265,225. Fifty-five nonprofit organizations received full or partial funding towards their requests.
