Women’s Giving Circle Continues Granting During Time of Need

$19K in 2019 and $12K in First Third of 2020 The Women’s Giving Circle of the Yampa Valley Community Foundation is a group of donors who, year-round, address pressing needs among women, children and elderly in the Yampa Valley.  The group accepts proposals from organizations, schools and churches on an ongoing basis to provide immediate help to members of our community. IMPACT100 Closes Out Season 14 by Awarding $11,500 in Grants

IMPACT100 hosted its final event of the year on Thursday evening, April 23, 2020. This was the group's first-ever virtual event in its 14 years of raising funds for local nonprofits. Though the group missed celebrating together in person, they were joined on their Zoom call by local musician Steve Boynton whose entertainment helped make it a festive occasion. With the generous support of IMPACT100's Season 14 sponsors and 105 contributing members, the group was able to award $11,500 in grants to the following organizations: REPS Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide was generously awarded $5500. The Yampa Valley Community Foundation announces the creation of the Town of Hayden Community Fund. Looking for a way to strengthen and build your local community during challenging times? The Yampa Valley Community Foundation announced that Tim Wohlgenant has been named as the organization’s new Executive Director and will be begin on May 1, 2020. Tim was selected by YVCF’s Board of Trustees after an extensive national search and consideration of candidates from nonprofit, foundation and private sectors.
