Looking for Dry Dirt?

Trail Conditions 5/2/2018
As the Yampa Valley and other areas of Routt County begin to thaw, we are eager to hit the trails. Please keep the following in mind:
  • Beall Trail remains closed for wildlife until June 30th
  • Mad Creek, Red Dirt, Skyline, and Spring Creek are open and drying quickly
Please do NOT hike, run, ride or take your animal on wet or muddy trails. If your shoes, tires, or hooves are leaving an indent, they are too wet. If you encounter puddles on trails, please dismount your bike and walk through them. Hikers and equestrians are encouraged to walk through the puddles as well. Hiking, Running, or Riding around puddles causes trail widening and environmental damage – and more need for maintenance!
