IMPACT 100 Season 10

Rocky Mountain Youth Corps, Routt County Council on Aging, The Community Agriculture Alliance, and Lift Up of Routt County have been selected to present at season 10 of IMPACT100. Each organization will receive a check for $250 dollars and will have a chance to be granted all or a partial amount of the estimated $10,000 grant provided in June. IMPACT 100 is philanthropy program originally started by young professionals welcome tenth year of this program. Trail Maintenance Fund Launches

A new endowment fund in established at the Yampa Valley Community Foundation aims to take on the responsibility of maintaining the new trails being created with the backing of millions of dollars in lodging tax funds.  The fund is call the Trail Maintenance Endowment Fund and the aim is to generate at least $1 million in contributions in the next eight to 10 years.  A private donate launched the fund with a $10,000 contribution. Community Grants Cycle supports inclusive PE Programming

Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports has unveiled a new suite of adaptive physical education programming in local schools this year. In the past, STARS has specialized in providing adaptive ski programming. In 2015, through strategic partnerships with local organizations and secured funding through Yampa Valley Community Foundation’s “Community Grant Cycle,” STARS has expanded it’s programming to include adaptive hiking and biking opportunities, as well as PE curriculum for local schools.
