Yampa Valley RISE is a regional collaboration with the Hayden and South Routt School Districts. Together, the districts are leveraging the agricultural roots of the Yampa Valley to expand career-connected learning opportunities aligned with our local economy.
The regional program focuses on the expansion of Career & Technical Education (CTE) agriculture pathways and Kindergarten through 12th-grade agriculture curriculum in collaboration with Colorado State University. Yampa Valley RISE builds upon established CTE programming in both districts to expand new CTE opportunities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Energy.
The purpose of the Yampa Valley Rise Fund is to provide funding for the Yampa Valley RISE Program at the Hayden School District and South Routt School District. Funds will be used for capital expenditures, facilities construction or renovations, and other expenses associated with the completion of the career pathway labs, for the purpose of expanding CTE pathways and aligning PK-12 grade curriculum at the School Districts.
