New Frontiers: Girls & Women Fund

As we approach the end of 2023, we celebrate our continued growth and impact in the Yampa Valley. This year, we proudly delivered our largest Community Grant Cycle, giving out nearly $542,000 to 70 local nonprofits; awarded the largest ever amount of scholarships ($529K) to 144 local students; and reached a new peak in total assets of over $60 million.

This is the one time of year when we solicit gifts for our own operating costs. Such donations are highly leveraged: for every $100 we receive in operating support, we raise and grant back out over $4,000. We’re proud to be able to deliver that kind of return on your generous investment.

Next year will be an exciting time as we commemorate the Foundation’s 40^th year and celebrate its achievements. We know that through the power of philanthropy, we can continue to preserve the qualities that make the Yampa Valley such a special place to live, work, learn and play – for everyone.
