Mark McManus Foundation
What They Do:
The Mark McManus Foundation provides community outreach for all age groups to discuss the real risks associated with prescription drug use, misuse, and addiction. We work to end the stigma surrounding substance use disorder and mental illness by providing prevention tools, options for treatment therapies and ways to support those in recovery.
My brother struggled with mental health and substance use disorder until it took his life in 2014. Gifts to The Foundation ensure that our community will continue to have these important conversations for generations to come. In Mark’s legacy, the hope is no one will be in the dark about the power of addiction. – Mara Rhodes
Our goal is to shift the cultural thinking on how we address pain and support mental health.
