Yampa Valley Community Foundation

The Yampa Valley Community Foundation meets National Standards for operational quality, donor service and accountability in the community foundation sector. The National Standards Seal indicates official confirmation from the Council on Foundations that we have met the most rigorous standards in philanthropy. It affirms our commitment to financial security, transparency and accountability. It says our grantmaking includes an open, competitive process designed to address the changing needs of our community. The National Standards Seal also confirms our history of honoring donors’ wishes.

The Colorado Association of Funders is a nonprofit organization  for  private foundations, community foundations, family foundations,  corporate funders, federated funds and workplace giving programs.  They honor the diverse missions of members while working toward  shared goals that advance philanthropy and benefit Colorado.

Colorado Nonprofit Association works with and for all of Colorado’s nonprofits to create impact in our communities.  They do so by providing cost-saving member benefits, up-to-date resources and practical information to help nonprofits. The Association provides an important voice on behalf of the sector at the Colorado State Capitol as well as nationwide. They rely on the support of members, foundations and the community at-large to provide these services.

The Colorado Planned Giving Roundtable is a nonprofit organization which provides a forum for the exchange of planned giving ideas in the Rocky Mountain region.

Established in 1956, the Foundation Center is the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. Through data, analysis, and training, it connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to succeed. The Center maintains the most comprehensive database on U.S. and, increasingly, global grantmakers and their grants.
